Originally inspired by the richness of ancient Chinese court jewellery, Barbara Acton-Bond has developed a style that brings together a fusion of Eastern and Western ideas. With her trained eye for detail, she creates unique necklaces in her London studio, using a fresh and exciting mix of colours and materials. Antique and ancient elements, vintage jades, precious stones and handmade silver and gold, all come together to make harmonious, one-off designs. In effect, it could be described as “wearable art”.
