- I’m mad about the colour combination of sky blue, next to rich, caramel hues. It is like wearing a caramel leather belt next to a blue chambray shirt. It always works.
- But amber is such a special substance, and these are large pieces of amber, particularly with the centre pendant. This whisky coloured, free form, transparent amber, measures 1 ¾” wide (4cm) x 2” (5cm) high x 15mm deep. It hangs on tiny baroque, honey-coloured, freshwater pearls.
- Large, very, sky blue beads of blue lace agate (20mm) form the main part of the necklace, with two large, transparent, honey coloured, amber nuggets (22mm x 30mm x 15mm deep) placed in between.
- The end of the necklace is made up of natural, honey toned horn beads(14m).
- I have used a handmade 14k gold vermeil toggle clasp. Toggle clasps are easy to use and secure. My silver name label is attached at the clasp.
- The necklace comes, like all my necklaces, with its own colour coordinated silk brocaded pouch bag, made by a Shanghai tailor.
