- Wonderful carving of dragons on large, lustrous, grey nephrite jade Bi disc (6 cm across x 12 mm deep)
- Dragons are the emblem of the Emperor, his strength and enjoyment; Dragons also signify “Chi” or the universal source of energy.
- The Bi disc itself symbolizes harmony and long life, so this disc is fully packed with goodness;
- It hangs on two strands of 5 mm agate beads;
- Four vibrant pebbles of tourmaline quartz (approximately 24 mm x 27 mm)
- Four large (14.5 mm), petrol coloured, cultured freshwater, baroque pearls;
- Four substantial, embossed silver beads, hand crafted by the Karen hill tribes in Thailand; Two beads are 15 mm x 21 mm, and two beads are 19 mm;
- Karen hill tribe Fair Trade silver is nearly 98% pure silver; each piece is like a miniature bit of sculpture, individually crafted and created; Artisans in Northern Thailand produce this unique silversmithing in small villages, involving whole families in the process; Their work is fairly paid, and as a result, their beads are much more expensive; But a family is supported and wonderful beads and jewellery are produced in high quality silver;
- Traditional Chinese knotting, using their “flat and button knots” on a silk/polyester cord;
- Toggle clasp is also made by the Karen hill tribes, using twisted silver wires to create a rope design; toggle clasps are secure and easy to use; my silver name label is attached at the clasp;
- Length 46 cm (18") with 6.5 cm (2 1/2") pendant drop
