Multi-Strand Necklace of Gold Tipped Silver Keshi Pearls
- I hadn’t come across keshi pearls like these before. They are a lovely, lustrous silver that has been tipped with gold. The effect is that the pearls work with both gold, silver and taupe. These are natural, cultured, freshwater keshi pearls, measuring 13.8 mm. They create a quite elegant effect.
- All three strands feed into sterling silver, open work beads (13.6 mm) made by the Karen hill tribes in Thailand.
- A silver toggle clasp has been used because toggle clasps are easy to use and secure. My silver name label is attached at the clasp.
- The necklace comes, like all my necklaces, with its own colour co-ordinated silk brocaded pouch bag, made by a Shanghai tailor.
- Length 42 cm (16 1/2").
