- This vintage, Chinese export, enamel butterfly seems to hover between the two strands of turquoise. With its wings fully open, it displays its beauty of fine Chinese craftsmanship. In exquisite blues, greens and turquoise enamels, the delicate wirework of the silver-gilt butterfly is outstanding. It measures 1 ½” across (4cm) x 1 ¼” high (3cm), the wings give an uplift that makes the butterfly 5mm deep.
- One strand of turquoise is of briolette beads. The top strand of turquoise is of oval beads (9mm x 11mm).
- This charming necklace measures 17” (43.5cm) long.
- I have used a handmade 14k gold vermeil toggle clasp. Toggle clasps are easy to use and secure. My silver name label is attached at the clasp.
- The necklace comes, like all my necklaces, with its own colour coordinated silk brocaded pouch bag, made by a Shanghai tailor.
