- Having made this necklace before, with three strands, I thought it might be well to make a somewhat lighter necklace, still capturing the wow factor of these colours and stones. Of course it is not the same necklace as the three strand necklace, because all the beads are different. But it is still a head turner.
- Because it is confusing to see so many types of stones, I have listed the various stones and their sizes in order to keep you informed on the necklace’s composition. It is a tedious read, but so many sites fail to give this information, which means, the customer is left in the dark as to what a necklace is made of. At least you will know.
- On the longer strand, starting on the left side of the necklace as you look at it, there are: Carved magnesite turquoise (17 mm); chrysoprase nugget (14 mm); turquoise pebble (19.5 mm); faceted chrysprase (16.5 mm); chrysocolla bead (19 mm); rectangle of turquoise howlite (18.6 mm); howlite carved pumpkin bead (19.6 mm); chrysoprase nugget (21mm); turquoise pebble (21.5 mm); chrysocolla bead (19 mm); chrysoprase disc bead (15.6 mm); carved turquoise magnesite bead (16.5 mm); chrysoprase nugget (19.5 mm); turquoise magnesite carved barrel (17.5 mm); chrysoprase nugget (13.5 mm); and turquoise(10.9 mm)
- The second strand consists of: Chrysoprase nugget (14 mm); carved turquoise bead (15.8 mm); chrysoprase nugget (16 mm); chrysocolla bead (19 mm); carved turquoise magnesite barrel (17.5 mm); chysocolla mellon bead (19.8 mm); chrysoprase nugget (16 mm); turquoise pebble (21.9 mm); turquoise magnesite barrel (19.8 mm); chrysoprase nugget (21.6 mm); chrysocolla bead (19 mm); carved turquoise bead (18 mm); carved howlite pumpkin bead (19.6 mm); carved. Turquoise magnesite barrel (13.8 mm); and faceted chrysoprase nugget (13.5 mmm).
- Both strands feed in rhodium silver beads from South Korea (17 mm). A silver toggle clasp has been used because toggle clasps are easy to use and secure. My silver name label is attached at the clasp.
- The necklace comes, like all my necklaces, with its own colour co-ordinated silk brocaded pouch bag, made by a Shanghai tailor.
