- Charming well work sterling silver pendant (3 cm x 3 cm x 9.7 mm deep), inlaid with turquoise, and crafted in Afghanistan;
- The sides, of the silver has been carved, while on the back, there is more pattern;
- Eight, intricately worked, silver beads (15 mm x 15 mm), in a purse shape design, made by the Karen hill tribes in Thailand;
- Karen hill tribe Fair Trade silver is nearly 98% pure silver; each piece is like a miniature bit of sculpture, individually crafted and created; Artisans in Northern Thailand produce this unique silversmithing in small villages, involving whole families in the process; Their work is fairly paid, and as a result, their beads are much more expensive; But a family is supported and wonderful beads and jewellery are produced in high quality silver;
- Alternating between the silver beads, there are carved turquoise beads (10 mm), in a lotus design;
- Turquoise beads (5.5 mm) are at the back of the necklace to ensure the necklace lies flatly;
- Toggle clasp is also made by the Karen hill tribes, using twisted silver wires to create a rope design; toggle clasps are secure and easy to use; my silver name label is attached at the clasp;
