- This vintage, sterling silver, tabby cat, looks the epitome of peace, with a deep, contented sleep, enveloping this puss. His whiskers twitch, while his tail wraps around his haunches. The black stripes have been burnished into the engraved details of the cat. It measures 2” long (5cm) x 1” high (2.5cm).
- Flanking the cat are two Tibetan open-work silver beads (10mm), followed by polished onyx discs, (11mm) which repeat throughout the necklace.
- Stunning agate rectangle panels, at 1 ¾” (4.5cm) x 1” (2.5cm), with striking, individual markings, form the main part of the necklace.
- Handmade, hammered silver cylinders (16mm) are made by the Karen hill tribes in Thailand, using 98% pure silver.
- A handmade, sterling silver toggle clasp, has been used because toggle clasps are easy to use and secure. My silver name label is attached at the clasp.
- The necklace comes, like all my necklaces, with its own colour co-ordinated silk brocaded pouch bag, made by a Shanghai tailor.
- This long necklace measures 24 ½” long (62cm).
