    • With a black or Grey top, this necklace could transform everything. It doesn’t take much, but its elegance can be a game changer.

    • A double row of charcoal grey cultured, freshwater pearls (10mm) emit a lovely lustre.

    • But this is heightened by the antique, Victorian carnelian, set in sterling silver, and surrounded by a rope design. The rich lustre of the mottled, polished carnelian compliments the charcoal pearls. The carnelian, set in silver, measures 3.5cm (1.5”) long and 3cm (1.25”) wide. It has been designed to sit on the side, but it can be worn in the middle, if so desired.

    • It is flanked by two handmade, gadrooned sterling silver beads (16mm), made by the Karen hill tribes in Thailand.

    • The pearls feed into two handmade, etched rhodium silver beads (9mm) from South Korea.

    • A sterling silver, handmade toggle clasp, has been used because toggle clasps are easy to use and secure. My silver name label is attached at the clasp.

    • The necklace comes, like all my necklaces, with its own colour co-ordinated silk brocaded pouch bag, made by a Shanghai tailor.

    • The necklace is 42cm (15.5”) long.
